About the Opportunity A global leader in chemical and advanced materials manufacturing is adding a Maintenance Technician to their Ravenna, Ohio compounding facility. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role supporting high-output production equipment in a structured, safety-focused environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment including motors, valves, conveyors, pumps, and mechanical drives Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations throughout the facility Execute overhead and elevated work safely using proper PPE and fall protection protocols Support and maintain mixing and extrusion equipment used in compounding operations Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and TPM tasks Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical drawings Maintain adherence to all safety standards including LOTO, permit-to-work, and confined space procedures Coordinate with service providers on specialized equipment installation and repair Respond to on-call manufacturing support requests for after-hours and weekend breakdowns Operate tow motors and pallet-jack lifts to transport tools and parts within the facility Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times What You'll Need 1-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience replacing and repairing motors and valves Basic plumbing experience — repairs, installations, or related trades exposure Ability to safely perform overhead and elevated work Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Comfort working across varied environments: interior, exterior, confined spaces, and elevated platforms Ability to climb ladders and access all areas of a manufacturing facility including rooftop Proficiency with hand tools and power tools standard to industrial maintenance High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be authorized to work in the United States Electrical maintenance experience is a plus but not required
