Ascension is a commercial real estate brokerage and property management company, serving the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan markets. Nationally, we are affiliated with SVN, an international commercial real estate entity with nearly 200 offices across the United States. The ideal candidate possesses a strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, as well as general carpentry skills. Excellent communication skills and reliability round out the position's requirements. A company vehicle is provided and a valid driver's license is required. Seasoned maintenance technicians as well as candidates graduating from related trade programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to managed properties to complete inspections and general maintenance
• Respond to work order requests as dispatched
• Perform tenant improvement tasks as required
• Be available for emergency and on-call response one week per month
• Communicate maintenance resolutions to management, tenants, staff, and owners
• Track hours worked, materials utilized, and work order resolutions on company issued tablet, utilizing Rent Manager software

Skills:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and owners
• Working knowledge of the maintenance and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing work
• Ability to work individually, as well as alongside fellow maintenance technicians and sub-contractors
• Display attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using an iPad to track work orders, materials utilized, and reporting functions
• Solid working knowledge of and utilization of tools

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license Prior maintenance experience or trade school education preferred HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience

Pay:

$24.00 - $35.00 per hour
