experience- General Machine, automation, Robot, Welder maintenance experience Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in heavy industrial equipment to join our dynamic manufacturing facility.
This role offers substantial overtime opportunities and the potential for significant earnings. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, repair, and maintenance of complex machinery and systems critical to our production processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, along with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and production equipment to minimize downtime Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, including high and low voltage circuits, using multimeters such as voltmeters and ohmmeters Repair and maintain electrical components, motors, drives, and control systems utilizing schematics and electrical blueprints Conduct mechanical repairs involving industrial mechanics, precision measuring instruments, welding (stick welding), and equipment troubleshooting Manage hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation of machinery Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate repairs Perform calibration of precision instruments to ensure measurement accuracy in manufacturing processes Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems Maintain compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance protocols Provide excellent customer service by supporting internal teams with timely repairs and technical advice Experience The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with a focus on heavy equipment maintenance. Proven expertise in electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, industrial mechanic skills, and mechanical knowledge is essential. Prior experience working with CMMS platforms is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Manufacturing facility experience with large-scale machinery Electrical troubleshooting including high voltage systems using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters Mechanical repairs involving welding (stick welding), hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems Reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately Industrial electrician experience with low voltage control circuits Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and engineering troubleshooting techniques Use of precision measuring instruments for calibration and inspection purposes Strong analysis skills coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities Customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English If you are a dedicated maintenance professional eager to contribute your technical expertise within a fast-paced manufacturing environment offering substantial overtime opportunities, we encourage you to apply today.
