Job Summary We are seeking an Full-Time energetic and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tolovana Inn. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical systems, appliances, HVAC/R equipment, and other building infrastructure. Your proactive maintenance and repair efforts will support our commitment to providing outstanding experiences for our guests and clients. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R equipment, and appliances. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other building equipment. Install, maintain, and repair appliances and mechanical systems following schematics and technical manuals. Conduct repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Assist with construction projects or upgrades that involve mechanical or HVAC components. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and air conditioning units. Hands-on experience with appliance installation and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with construction processes related to building mechanical systems is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate with external contractors. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
