Experienced Handyman / Remodeler - Consistent Work + Lead Opportunity Salem, Oregon & Surrounding Areas Handyman Fix-It Solutions is a growing residential repair and remodeling company based in Salem, Oregon. We're looking for 1-2 experienced, dependable tradespeople who can handle a variety of residential repairs and remodeling projects with minimal supervision. We're not looking for someone who simply has construction experience on paper. We're looking for someone who can walk into a job, understand what needs to be done, work efficiently, communicate when something comes up, and take pride in leaving behind quality work. If you're skilled in multiple trades, reliable, and interested in consistent work with the opportunity to eventually lead projects, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Projects vary from day to day and may include: Drywall installation, patching and texturing Interior and exterior painting Flooring and tile installation Framing and general carpentry Siding repairs and installation Window and door installation Trim and finish work Light concrete work Rental/property repairs Punch-list work Small-to-medium residential remodels General handyman repairs You don't need to be a master of every trade listed above, but you should be highly competent in several of them and comfortable working independently. Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate: Has approximately 4+ years of hands-on remodeling, construction, maintenance or handyman experience Is skilled in multiple residential trades Can complete many jobs without constant supervision Owns basic hand and power tools needed for their trade Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Shows up when they say they will Keeps a clean and professional job site Communicates well with homeowners and the team Pays attention to details Can troubleshoot problems rather than needing step-by-step instructions Takes pride in doing a job correctly—not just doing it quickly Pay & Opportunity Pay is based on experience and demonstrated skill level. Initial jobs will allow us to evaluate craftsmanship, efficiency, communication and reliability. Workers who demonstrate strong skills and consistency can move up quickly.
