Facility Maintenance Pay:

$26.00 - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience May Trucking Company has an opening for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Brooks, OR facility. This is an experienced facility maintenance position and is not a training or entry-level role. We are looking for a technician with a proven record of hands-on facility maintenance experience who can demonstrate their skills and contribute independently from day one. This position is responsible for maintaining company facilities and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Duties include performing facility repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance issues, maintaining exterior grounds, stocking supplies, cleaning, and completing other duties as assigned by management.

Regular Schedule:

Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Training Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM for 2-3 weeks as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform building and facility repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance. Troubleshoot facility issues and determine appropriate repair solutions. Maintain shop facilities, overhead doors, parking lots, fencing, lighting, and exterior grounds. Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential maintenance issues. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Maintain maintenance records, supplies, and organized work areas. Assist with facility improvement projects and coordinate with contractors when needed. Work independently to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on commercial, industrial, or facility maintenance experience required. Proven ability to independently perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 80 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Willingness to work occasional overtime or respond to facility maintenance needs as required. May Trucking Company is a drug-free workplace.
