Summary Firetree, Ltd. is seeking a reliable, skilled Part-Time Maintenance Specialist to manage the upkeep, minor repairs, and safety of our corporate office environment. Working 20 to 25 hours per week , you will ensure our workspaces, common areas, and building facilities remain professional, fully functional, and safe for our employees and visitors. This role offers flexible weekday scheduling and requires an independent worker who can manage a daily checklist with minimal supervision.

Specific Duties Include:

Facility Inspections:

Walk the office spaces daily to identify and log maintenance needs, safety hazards, or lighting replacements.

General Repairs:

Perform minor plumbing (fixing leaks, replacing flush valves), basic electrical (swapping light bulbs, ballasts, or outlets), and routine carpentry.

Workspace Setup:

Assist with office reconfigurations, including assembling desks, mounting whiteboards/monitors, and moving furniture.

Cosmetic Upkeep:

Complete interior paint touch-ups, patch drywall holes, and repair carpet tiles or trim to maintain a polished corporate image.

Vendor Coordination:

Escort and monitor specialized external contractors (HVAC technicians, elevator mechanics, fire safety inspectors) when major service is required.

Inventory Control:

Monitor, order, and organize maintenance supplies, tools, and hardware within the facility workshop.

Housekeeping/Cleaning:

Cleaning of various office space and common areas to include; vacuuming, dusting, trash/recycling collection, mopping floors, etc. Education/Experience Minimum Education Requirements -

High School Diploma or GED Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial office or setting.

Technical Skills:

Basic proficiency across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical wiring, and drywall repair.

Schedule Flexibility:

Ability to work a consistent shift of 4 to 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, ideally during or just outside core business hours.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, bend, and climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.

Professionalism:
