What You'll Do As a Facilities Maintenance/Groundskeeper, you'll perform a variety of maintenance and groundskeeping duties, including: General building maintenance and repairs Carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing work Basic plumbing and electrical repairs Landscaping, mowing, mulching, pruning, and lawn maintenance Snow removal and sidewalk maintenance Facility cleaning and janitorial support as needed Moving furniture and assisting with facility projects Maintaining safe and secure worksites Completing work orders and project documentation Supporting other maintenance-related duties as assigned ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Click here to view the full job description.

PAY RATE

Requirements The Ideal Candidate You take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy finding solutions to maintenance challenges. You're dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist wherever needed to keep facilities and grounds looking their best. High school diploma or GED Minimum of two years of experience or technical training in construction, building trades, facility maintenance, or a related field Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to safely work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and 60 pounds with assistance Ability to successfully complete required background and driving record clearances Preferred Skills General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and facility maintenance Experience operating hand and power tools Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong customer service and communication skills Benefits STEP, Inc.
