•US Market Convenience stores We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Handyman to join US Market. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our building's interior and exterior spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills in a fast-paced setting that values hands-on problem solving and customer service excellence. Duties Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to address issues with electrical equipment, plumbing systems, or mechanical components. Maintain facilities by painting walls (including residential painting), replacing fixtures, repairing drywall, and performing carpentry tasks to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics; repair or replace electrical equipment as needed. Oversee plumbing system maintenance including leak repairs, pipe replacements, and fixture servicing to ensure continuous water flow and safety compliance. Assist with HVAC system repair and routine servicing to maintain climate control efficiency across the facility. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and reporting purposes. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants to resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance, repair operations (MRO), or facilities maintenance roles with a strong mechanical background. Skilled in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, schematics for electrical or mechanical systems, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for complex repairs. Strong understanding of electrical equipment repair including wiring and circuit troubleshooting. Experience with maintenance painting—residential or commercial—and general building upkeep. Supervising experience is preferred for overseeing team members or contractors effectively. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and clients. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Company will provide tools and transportation.
