Job Summary:

This role is responsible for routine maintenance and repair of the campus and facilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements

• ? Performs semi-skilled technical tasks related to routine maintenance of facilities and outdoor structures ? Performs scheduled preventative maintenance tasks ? Conducts routine walk-through inspections of the facilities and outdoor structures ? Assist in skilled trades repair and maintenance ? Escorts contractors when professional services are necessary ? Follows and references standard operating procedures ? Uses hand and power tools for maintenance ? Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues ? Completes work orders as assigned ? Performs furniture, fixture, and equipment (FFE) transfers Service Excellence ? Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite ? Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) ? Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College Supervision ? Works under the general supervision of the assigned campus leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:

? High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) ? One (1) year of General Maintenance experience ? Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

? At least one (1) year's working experience with the operation of fork-lifts, bobcats and backhoes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical skills ? Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships ? Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software ? Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment ? Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
