Job Overview We are seeking a proactive, self-sufficient and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties:
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of production and support equipment. Maintain general facility maintenance and work with outside resources as needed to ensure proper facility operations and safety. Work under the direction of the Maintenance Lead on maintenance projects and priorities. Independently resolve mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues. Execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime as required. Diagnose root causes of equipment failure and implement corrective actions. Maintain and track critical spare parts inventory. Coordinate with Maintenance Tech Lead for repairs, PMs, and upgrades requiring outside resources. Lead or assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Provide technical training and guidance to junior maintenance staff. Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols at all times. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and vendor interactions. Assist with Maintenance needs at other facilities as requested. Supply and maintain standard hand tools; specialized tools provided by On Time. Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office. Experience with Preventative Maintenance Software desired. Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude. 2 years of experience in an equipment maintenance environment desired. High School diploma minimum. Associate degree in math or science desired Experience managing projects of varying complexity and scope. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret simple blueprints and technical diagrams. Able to work overtime as needed. Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required PPE. Able to report to work on time each work day. Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics
Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. The warehouse area is not climate controlled and can get hot during summer and cold during winter months. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harness and gloves. Must be able to hear, speak, reach, bend, twist, squat, push and pull. Must be able to perform tasks in a standing or sitting position for extended periods of time. The primary location would be Darlington however there would be some maintainance also required in Timmonsville. Join us in maintaining excellence! $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
