Experienced Handyman / Home Repair Technician Patch Daddy Home Repair LLC - Middle Tennessee Patch Daddy Home Repair is a growing home repair and improvement company looking for a skilled, dependable handyman/home repair technician to join our team. We handle a wide variety of residential repair, maintenance, carpentry, and improvement projects throughout Middle Tennessee. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can solve problems, and is comfortable working independently when needed. Job Responsibilities Projects vary from day to day and may include: General handyman and home repair work Punch-list repairs Interior and exterior carpentry Trim, baseboard, casing, and finish carpentry Deck and porch construction and repair Fence construction and repair Drywall repair and patching Door and window installation/repair Painting and touch-up work Cabinet and shelving installation Fascia, soffit, siding, and exterior repairs Hardware, TV, shelving, and fixture installation General property maintenance Assisting with larger remodeling and construction projects You do not need to be an expert in every trade. However, you should have enough residential construction or handyman experience to confidently complete common repairs and figure out solutions when unexpected problems come up.

Requirements Applicants must:

Have previous handyman, remodeling, carpentry, maintenance, or residential construction experience Have their own reliable transportation to and from jobsites Have their own basic hand and power tools necessary to perform handyman and home repair work Have a valid driver's license Be available to work weekends when projects or customer schedules require it Be able to safely operate common hand and power tools Be able to work independently without constant supervision Have good problem-solving skills Produce clean, professional-quality work Be dependable and show up on time when scheduled Communicate professionally with customers and the Patch Daddy team Maintain a professional appearance and attitude around customers Keep jobsites clean and respect customers' homes and property Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors Be comfortable safely working from ladders when necessary Large or specialty equipment required for particular projects may be provided or arranged by Patch Daddy Home Repair. What We're Looking For We're especially interested in someone who is well-rounded and capable of handling different types of work. One day might involve repairing trim or drywall inside a customer's home. Another might involve building a deck, replacing exterior fascia, installing doors, repairing a fence, or working alongside us on a larger project. We're looking for someone who can look at a problem, determine what needs to be done, and complete the work correctly — not someone who needs to be walked through every step of every project. Quality, reliability, and professionalism are extremely important. Our customers trust us in and around their homes, so we expect anyone representing Patch Daddy Home Repair to treat customers and their property with respect. Schedule Work is primarily Monday-Friday during daytime hours, with weekend availability required as needed. Hours may vary depending on the current project schedule. Some weeks may require weekend work to meet deadlines or accommodate customer schedules. We're looking for someone interested in consistent work and potentially taking on more responsibility as the company grows. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience and skill level.
