Overview Nelson Pool Care is a growing pool cleaning service looking to add to the team! We're looking for a self starter who can complete weekly pool cleaning routes. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of pool surfaces, filters, skimmers, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and safety. Inspect and maintain pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals responsibly to maintain proper water quality and safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct water testing procedures regularly to monitor chemical levels and adjust as needed for healthy water conditions. Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and supplies between job sites. Document maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs accurately for record keeping. Experience Previous experience working with pool maintenance or in an aquatic facility environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of pool plumbing systems, mechanical components, and water treatment chemicals is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with pool cleaning tools, equipment troubleshooting, and routine maintenance tasks is a plus. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding pool conditions or issues. Outdoor work experience that demonstrates comfort working in various weather conditions is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
