Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance Technician must act according to Leedo's core values: doing the right thing, making our customers successful, taking care of our team, pursuing excellence, and maximizing profit. This person will be responsible for the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the manufacturing plant. He/She will also be responsible for performing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment. Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment. Repair and troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment. Perform and/or assist with preventive maintenance. Other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters and variable frequency drives. Must be able to read and follow written directions. Experienced with troubleshooting PLC based control systems desired. Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications. Strong background in electrical troubleshooting is highly recommended. Welding and fabrication skills considered a plus. Education and Experience 3+ years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment desirable. Texas Journeyman Electrician License desirable Associates of Science in Industrial Maintenance Technology., Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
