Description Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites & Grand Prairie Events Center at EpicCentral Join one of the premier hospitality destinations in North Texas! We are seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team supporting the Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, and the Grand Prairie Events Center at EpicCentral. Working alongside our Chief Engineer, you'll help maintain a beautiful, modern property while ensuring our guests and team members enjoy a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment every day. Experience is welcome from hotels, apartment communities, commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, facilities maintenance, or similar environments. If you enjoy solving problems and take pride in your work, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on guest rooms, public areas, and building equipment. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, carpentry, painting, drywall, and other building systems as needed. Assist the Chief Engineer with maintaining the hotel, event center, and surrounding grounds. Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Help ensure all building systems operate safely and reliably. Maintain compliance with all safety policies, emergency procedures, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines. Deliver friendly, professional service to guests and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Work as part of a collaborative team and assist other departments when needed to create an outstanding guest experience. What We're Looking For Experience in maintenance, facilities, engineering, or building operations. Knowledge of general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or drywall repair. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills. Ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
