About the role:
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of all site facilities. This includes managing the upkeep of buildings, infrastructure, and essential mechanical and plumbing systems to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs across the entire site, including workshops, office facilities, and groundskeeping. Diagnose and resolve all faults, including mechanical and plumbing. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and prevent potential issues. Coordinate and manage external contractors for specialist maintenance work. Oversee building security, fire safety, and emergency systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, risk assessments, and compliance documentation. Work with management to identify site improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
About you:
Experience in a maintenance role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems. Ability to work independently and proactively manage maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach. Relevant technical qualifications in building maintenance, or facilities management (preferred).
