Submittal Associate Maintenance Technician | Logan, UT Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build your maintenance career in a manufacturing environment? Nexeo Staffing is seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of facility infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, and building systems. This role is ideal for someone with basic maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, and contributing to safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple maintenance disciplines while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation. Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Assist with the maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure, including lighting, doors, walls, flooring, and building systems. Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues such as leaks, valves, fixtures, and water distribution systems. Perform mechanical maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, motors, bearings, and support systems. Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pneumatic systems, including air lines, compressors, regulators, and cylinders. Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs involving motors, switches, sensors, lighting, and control systems. Complete maintenance work orders accurately and in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures and maintenance concerns. Document completed repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and maintenance records. Support equipment installations and facility improvement projects. Respond to maintenance requests and help minimize equipment downtime. Perform snow removal for parking lots, walkways, and facility access points as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Properly use and care for maintenance tools, equipment, and materials. Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, or a related field preferred. 0-2 years of maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to read maintenance procedures, work instructions, and equipment manuals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance tracking systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.Preferred:
