Industrial Maintenance Technician Meherrin River Forest Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair sawmill equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance. Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Replace bearings, chains, cylinders, motors, drives, and other parts. Assist with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment installation. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Work outdoors, overtime, and weekends as needed. Qualifications Industrial maintenance or millwright experience preferred. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting of more than 50 pounds. Dependable and safety-focused.
