BCG Facility Services , has an immediate need for a Full Time Floor Care Technician; Monday - Friday, 3 PM - 11:30 PM . This position is responsible for the overall cleaning and floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet areas in the facility. Due to the contractual requirements of our customer, the selected candidates must be U.S. Citizens and successfully complete a Nationwide Criminal Background Check and Drug Test .

Compensation includes:

Pay rate TBD. Ten (10) Days PTO , begins accruing after 60 days of employment; accrued time usable after 90 days of employment. Duties May Include, but are not limited to: Dusting, vacuuming, trash removal. Dust mopping and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, restrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and dining rooms. Moving furniture before and after cleaning. Safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions. Operating chemical dispensing units. Labeling chemicals correctly. Utilizing protective gear in all appropriate functions. Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently. Keeping inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties. Work involves pulling and pushing, carrying weight up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to above head. Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience :

One year experience in cleaning or floor maintenance preferred, but not required. We will train someone willing to learn and work hard. Due to the contractual requirements of our customer, the selected candidates must be U.S. Citizens and successfully complete a Nationwide Criminal Background Check and Drug Test .

Physical Demands:

These positions work around equipment/machinery, and include standing on different surfaces, walking extensively, stooping and bending as well as moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds) and climbing stairs.
