Position Overview:

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Gordonsville, VA. This position repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. We have openings on dayshift Monday-Friday and also a rotating shift schedule. Maintenance Technician -

Primary Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain equipment in our manufacturing facilities. Work closely with our Manufacturing Engineers and Shop Engineers to ensure that all manufacturing processes are running efficiently and effectively. Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on equipment in our manufacturing facilities. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment in our manufacturing facilities. Work closely with our Purchasing Department to ensure that all equipment is in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and company safety regulations. Participate in the development of production processes to maximize efficiency and profitability. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Maintenance Technician -

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in a high speed manufacturing environment. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops or other required training. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Other Requirements:

Able to work dayshift M-F or rotating schedule every 4 weeks. Is available to work Overtime hours. Able to be part of an ON-Call Rotation Must have a good driving record / Valid Driver's License Must be able to work at heights up to and above 60 feet. #IND2
