Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our production team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical equipment, takes pride in preventative maintenance, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Our facility operates a variety of industrial equipment including conveyor systems, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and production machinery. The right candidate will have solid mechanical aptitude, basic industrial electrical troubleshooting skills, and a proactive mindset toward preventing equipment failures before they happen. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, problem-solving, and teamwork are valued just as much as technical ability. Duties Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service on plant equipment.
  • Repair and replace mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, rollers, gearboxes, and conveyor components.
  • Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting involving motors, motor controls, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
  • Identify potential equipment issues before they become major failures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with production personnel and supervisors regarding equipment status and repair priorities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience required.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and VFDs. Experience performing preventative maintenance on production equipment. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and common maintenance equipment. Able to work independently while also collaborating with a team. Willingness to learn and continuously improve technical skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in confined areas.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that can be dusty, noisy, and dirty at times.
  • Must be able to work safely around moving machinery while following company safety procedures.
