is a dynamic team and a very stable business at the forefront of Engineered Tubing Celebrating 100 years in 2024, Plymouth Tube Company is a 5th-generation family-owned manufacturer of Structural Steel Tubing & Engineered Shapes/Metal Extrusions serving OEM customers in Aerospace, Space, Power Generation, and Heavy Equipment. Highly stable with 5 US facilities and 1 in Germany.
ABOUT THE JOB
Responsible for safely maintaining Mill equipment that is dependable and available to meet our customers' (internal and external) expectations. Maintenance Technicians are expected to search for and recommend repairs or process changes necessary for Plymouth to meet customer requirements and allow team members to work safely and productively. Pay
  • Depending on Skill level
  • 29.00 to 39.00 per hour Also, 1.50 p/h shift premium on 2nd Monthly Production Bonuses-EACH MONTH
  • up to 10% of salary
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Complete work orders through the Mill CMMS in a timely manner. Participate in problem-solving teams and Kaizen events to improve operations. Troubleshoot all Mill equipment Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Electrical systems. Participate in Maintenance and Cross-Functional Team meetings. Complete Preventive Maintenance procedures and equipment improvement activities. Inspect and inventory site-generated hazardous waste staging areas. Assist in the transfer of site-generated hazardous waste to on-site staging areas.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
High school diploma or GED. We prefer candidates who demonstrate some stability in their work history 3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant maintenance department . Experience in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical systems Effective, collaborative communication skills. Basic computer skills.
