Full-time, in-person Job Description Triton Global Services is seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to join our growing Low Voltage Integration Division. This position is based out of our Ontario, California office and will support access control installations, service, and maintenance throughout Southern California and other areas of the western U.S. as needed. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting Brivo access control systems. This is an independent technician role requiring the ability to manage assigned work, resolve technical issues, and maintain clear communication with the Low Voltage Supervisor and Project Managers. The technician will also assist with other low-voltage installation work as needed. Responsibilities Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling for access control and other low-voltage systems. Install, configure, program, and service Brivo access control systems, including controllers, readers, locks, power supplies, and associated hardware. Troubleshoot access control systems, including controller communication, reader issues, door hardware, wiring, and network connectivity. Configure access control software, including doors, user permissions, schedules, and access levels. Integrate access control systems with video surveillance and other related systems where applicable. Interpret and execute electrical, architectural, and system drawings. Mount and connect enclosures, panels, readers, and associated equipment. Work with basic network configurations, including IP addressing, switches, PoE devices, and connectivity troubleshooting. Conduct system testing, commissioning, and verification to confirm proper operation. Maintain accurate installation, service, configuration, and closeout documentation. Provide daily project updates and communicate job progress, deficiencies, material needs, and other issues to the appropriate supervisor or Project Manager. Assist with other low-voltage installations and projects as needed. Follow company and industry safety standards and represent Triton professionally on all job sites. Provide professional customer service and assist with customer handoff or basic system instruction when required. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience installing or servicing commercial access control systems. At least 1 year of hands-on Brivo access control experience required. Demonstrated experience with access control system installation, configuration, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Experience with low-voltage wiring and termination standards, including Cat6 and RS-485. Familiarity with door hardware integration, including electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, and related components. Basic knowledge of network configurations, switches, PoE devices, IP addressing, and connectivity troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, and architectural plans. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, Project Managers, customers, and other technicians. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Reliable and punctual, with the ability to report to the Ontario office at the scheduled start time. Preferred Experience and Certifications Experience with additional commercial access control platforms. Experience with video surveillance systems and access control/video integration. Structured cabling and broader low-voltage installation experience. Lift certification. Additional technical training or industry certifications. Schedule and Work Location Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Technicians meet at the Ontario, California office at 7:00 AM and deploy to job sites using a company-provided vehicle. Occasional overtime and overnight travel may be required based on project schedules. This is an in-person position based out of Triton's Ontario, California office.

Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay:

An initial interview to discuss the candidate's experience, technical background, and qualifications. Step Two -

Practical Assessment:

A hands-on exercise demonstrating access control wiring, controller setup, troubleshooting, and Brivo software configuration. Additional Requirements Must be able to commute to the Ontario, California office. Must be able to report to the office by 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Must be willing to travel to job sites and occasionally stay overnight as project schedules require.
