Wired Low Voltage Inc. is a growing low-voltage integration company specializing in structured cabling, security systems, and audio-video installations for high-end residential and commercial projects in San Diego. Our work ranges from smart home automation and CCTV systems to whole-house audio, fiber optics, and network infrastructure. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Residential Technician to join our team — someone who takes pride in clean, organized installs and high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test Cat6/Cat6A, coax, and low-voltage cabling for residential systems Mount and configure security cameras, NVRs, and access control devices Install and calibrate TVs, speakers, amplifiers, and home theater systems Perform rack builds, patch panel terminations, and labeling Set up Wi-Fi networks and smart home integrations (UniFi, Control4, etc.) Conduct pre-wire, trim-out, and final installation phases Troubleshoot and service existing low-voltage systems Maintain neat cable management, accurate documentation, and jobsite professionalism Qualifications 2+ years of experience in low-voltage or structured cabling (residential preferred) Solid understanding of wiring standards (TIA/EIA) and proper termination methods Experience with CCTV, AV, or network equipment installation Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and floor plans Comfortable working on ladders, attics, and construction sites Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools Clean and professional appearance, strong communication skills
