Job Description

Structured Cabling Technician -
Full-Time Location:
Augusta, GA Job Type:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8-hour shift
Work Location:
In Person About the Role We are seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician to provide professional, customer-focused technical support at client sites and in the office. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, estimating, and managing structured cabling and low-voltage projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct site surveys and determine project scope. Install and terminate
CAT5/CAT6
copper and fiber optic cabling . Support projects involving VoIP, security cameras, access control, and A/V systems. Prepare project estimates using established pricing guidelines. Communicate project details and recommendations clearly to clients. Complete projects independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality work. Provide professional, responsive customer service.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of professional structured cabling experience. Experience installing and terminating copper and fiber cabling. Experience with project estimating and management. Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work in office, client-site, outdoor, and non-climate-controlled environments.
Preferred:
Experience with VoIP/PBX systems. Security camera installation and troubleshooting experience. Access control system experience. Low-voltage license.
LMT Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
