In this role, you will install, service, and troubleshoot commercial security systems, including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and low-voltage infrastructure . You'll work alongside project leads, superintendents, and customers to deliver high-quality security solutions in commercial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working with cutting-edge security technologies. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and service commercial access control and CCTV systems Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling Assist with system startup, programming, and commissioning activities Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and installation standards Complete project documentation, service reports, and testing records Ensure installations meet customer requirements and quality standards Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines Required Qualifications Experience installing or servicing security systems, access control, or CCTV solutions Knowledge of low-voltage cabling installation and termination practices Ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues in the field Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial construction sites Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP-based cameras, and connected devices Manufacturer certifications in security, access control, or video surveillance systems Experience with system commissioning and startup procedures Strong customer service and communication skills Technical Skills Access Control Systems CCTV / Video Surveillance Security Systems Installation Low-Voltage Cabling Cable Pulling, Termination & Testing System Troubleshooting Network-Connected Security Devices Project Documentation What We Offer Opportunity to work with industry-leading security technologies Diverse commercial projects and career growth opportunities Collaborative team environment Ongoing technical training and skill development Stable, long-term career path in the rapidly growing physical security industry If you're a hands-on technician with experience in access control, CCTV, and commercial security installations, and you're looking to grow your career with a team that values quality and professionalism, we'd love to hear from you. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
