Job Description
CO-DA is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to own the infrastructure backbone of our audio, video, and lighting projects across the Charlotte metro. This is a hands-on field role for someone who takes pride in clean pathway, tight terminations, and job sites left better than they found them.
Responsibilities:
- Install pathway and supports: J-hooks, sleeves, and ladder rack per drawings
- Pull, route, dress, and label structured cabling (Cat6, speaker, control, coax) in commercial and residential environments
- Terminate copper (RJ45, punch-downs, patch panels); test and verify links
- Build racks, mount equipment, and prep infrastructure ahead of AV system installation
- Work alongside our AV technicians and project leads; keep vehicle, tools, and materials organized
Compensation:
- $45,000
- 52,000 per year based on experience
- Growth path: we will train the right person on fiber termination and testing
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of low-voltage or structured cabling experience (commercial preferred)
- Able to read prints and follow scope documents
- Comfortable on ladders and lifts; OSHA 10 a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- BICSI credential or fiber experience a plus, not required
Pay:
$45,000.00- $52,000.
