New Albany, OH Schedule:
Monday-Saturday, 10-hour shifts,
Day Shift Pay:
$23-$26/hour, depending on experience

Plenty of overtime available Position Overview We are seeking an Entry-Level Cable Technician to support a large-scale data center construction project in New Albany, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in low-voltage, structured cabling, and data center infrastructure. Previous cable installation experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are eager to learn, can follow instructions, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced data center environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation of copper and fiber optic cabling throughout a new construction data center. Pull, route, and organize cables through pathways, ceilings, walls, conduit, and cable trays. Dress, label, secure, and organize structured cabling. Assist with installation of J-hooks, cable supports, cable trays, and other low-voltage infrastructure. Use basic hand and power tools safely. Assist with cable termination and connectivity tasks as trained. Follow direction from Lead Cable Technicians and Project Supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all project safety procedures and jobsite requirements. Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Required Qualifications 4-6 months or more of cable installation, low-voltage, telecommunications, electrical helper, or related hands-on experience preferred. Basic understanding of cable installation and routing. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift. Reliable transportation and strong attendance. Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain before starting. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience pulling Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optic, or other structured cabling. Experience with cable trays, J-hooks, pathways, or conduit. Previous data center, commercial, telecommunications, or low-voltage experience. Familiarity with cable labeling, dressing, and organization. Experience working alongside cable, electrical, or telecommunications crews.
