Low Voltage Technician - Travel Deployment Project
Travel:
- 100% nationwide travel
Schedule:
- Primarily overnight shifts
- Vehicle & Fuel Provided
- Seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians
- to support large-scale retail and commercial technology deployments. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cabling, network equipment, wireless access points, IP cameras, power systems, and other low-voltage infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Install, route, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
- Perform RJ45 terminations and connectivity testing.
- Install and configure wireless access points (WAPs).
- Replace legacy camera systems with IP-based surveillance solutions.
- Install cameras, network cabinets, racks, switches, and supporting infrastructure.
- Pull, label, dress, and organize copper and fiber cabling.
- Install and support network switching equipment and related hardware.
- Run and terminate fiber and copper network connections.
- Install low-voltage power wiring and support power distribution for network-connected devices.
- Install EMT conduit, junction boxes, pull boxes, and power supply infrastructure.
- Coordinate with electricians and project teams to complete integrated power and data installations.
- Install Public Video Monitor (PVM) systems.
- Maintain quality standards, labeling, and project documentation.
- Safely operate scissor lifts and other elevated work platforms. Qualifications
- Experience with structured cabling, low-voltage installations, and network infrastructure deployments.
- Proficient with Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience installing WAPs, IP cameras, network switches, racks, and cabinets.
- Ability to read floor plans, site drawings, and cable schedules.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and IP-based devices.
- Experience working independently and on multi-site deployment teams.
- OSHA and lift certifications are a plus. Typical Project Work

- Fiber and copper infrastructure installations.
- IP camera and surveillance system deployments.
- Network cabinet, rack, and switch installations.
- Retail technology rollouts.
- Public Video Monitor (PVM) installations.
- Integrated power and data infrastructure projects. Requirements
- Ability to travel extensively for project duration.
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and on lifts.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
- Ideal candidates will have heavy experience in structured cabling, networking, and retail technology deployments, with experience supporting large-scale infrastructure upgrades in commercial environments.

- This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
