Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Coax and Fiber Field Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting coaxial and fiber optic cable systems. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications technology and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair coaxial and fiber optic cable systems. Conduct site surveys to determine the best cable routing and installation methods. Perform signal testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Adhere to safety standards and protocols during all field operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in telecommunications or a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a coax and fiber field technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of coaxial and fiber optic cable systems and installation techniques. Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for cable installation and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
