Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Diesel Mechanic specializing in Truck and Trailer maintenance to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems for trucks and trailers Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire service, alignments, shocks & struts, and air brake inspections Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately Fabricate parts or modify equipment as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery to assist with repairs or parts movement Inspect farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy trucks to identify wear or damage requiring repair or replacement Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with safety standards Requirements Proven experience as a diesel mechanic with dealership or heavy equipment repair background Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension, HVAC systems, and electrical components Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using schematics and electronic testing tools Hands-on experience with heavy truck repair including tractor-trailers and service technician roles for truck drivers Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts safely and efficiently Skilled in welding, fabrication, soldering, and equipment assembly techniques Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including tire service, brake repair, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to communicate effectively with clients or team members This role is ideal for motivated mechanics eager to apply their expertise in a vibrant environment that values safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.
