What we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Line Mechanic with strong hydraulic experience to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, trailers, and landscape/construction equipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is safety-minded, dependable, and enjoys solving mechanical and hydraulic problems.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, trailers, and equipment Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems including pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and fittings Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical systems Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Repair and maintain landscape and construction equipment Perform welding and basic fabrication when needed Perform both shop and occasional field service repairs Identify potential equipment issues before they become major repairs Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Follow all company safety procedures and ensure equipment is safe before returning it to service Communicate equipment status, repair needs, and parts requirements with shop and operations management Assist and provide guidance to other mechanics when needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of professional mechanic experience preferred Strong hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and heavy equipment Experience working on diesel and/or gas engines Experience with heavy trucks, trailers, landscape, construction, or similar equipment Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems Ability to read and understand service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information Welding/fabrication experience is a plus ASE certifications are preferred but not required CDL is preferred but not required- With updated Physical Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must be able to work independently and manage multiple repairs Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and take pride in the quality of their work If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to work , we'd like to meet you and show you what we're all about.
