Our division in the mountain town of Burney, California is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for our trucking division. Burney is home to stunning scenery and outdoor adventures, including parks, hiking trails, lakes, and breathtaking waterfalls. About the Position Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks, pickup trucks, log trailers, and semi-trailers Effectively overhaul engines and perform diagnostic tests and routine preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of the above-mentioned vehicles Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and steering mechanisms Perform routine care such as oil changes, fluid level checks, belt and hose inspections, and tire rotations Maintain accurate and detailed records of serviced vehicles and adhere to safety, environmental, and other regulations Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, and maintain a clean and organized work area Work may consist of overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production times Qualifications 1 year of diesel mechanic experience or educational equivalent Extensive working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel engines Commercial driver's license Class A is helpful Knowledge of Cummins Insite and Davie diagnostic tools a plus Preference given to applicants with fabrication and metal work experience Why Join Our Team?
