You will be involved in the maintenance, inspections, and repairs of diesel trucks and related systems. Computer knowledge is required as diagnostic systems are frequently used. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections. Diagnose mechanical issues using techniques and programs to identify problems with engines, electrical systems, and other components. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to conduct repairs on vehicles as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed on vehicles. Organizational skills and ease of communication are expected as this job deals with a high volume of parts and repairs. Skills Mechanical knowledge with some experience in vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment (Diagnostics can be taught as long as you are computer friendly). Familiarity with electrical systems related to diesel engines.
