MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Level C to join our dedicated team of technicians. In this role, you are vital to ensuring the safety and operational reliability of our diverse fleet of transportation vehicles, including paratransit, fixed-route buses, shuttles, and school buses. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, applying your technical skills to maintain and enhance vehicle performance, thus ensuring safe and comfortable travel for our customers across the U.S. and Canada. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to engine diagnostics, brake systems, steering and suspension, heating and air conditioning systems, and electrical systems. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Respond to roadside breakdowns and collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in vehicle maintenance and repair. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the garage. Required Skills Profound knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic and hand tools. Ability to interpret and implement complex repair manuals and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
