Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our semi-truck repair shop. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on Class 7-8 trucks and trailers . Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and general mechanical repairs on semi-trucks Diagnose and repair brake systems , including air brakes Perform tire removal, installation, rotation, and repairs Replace wheel seals, hubs, bearings, and related components Perform oil changes, lubrication, and routine inspections Repair and replace suspension components Perform basic electrical and lighting repairs Inspect trucks and trailers and identify mechanical issues Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Qualifications Previous experience working on semi-trucks, heavy-duty trucks, or trailers Ability to use basic diagnostic tools and shop equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license CDL is a plus but not required 2+ years of heavy-duty truck or trailer repair experience preferred
