DIESEL REPAIR TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

for

HEAVY DUTY

TRUCKS, including semis, dump trucks, cranes, cement trucks, box trucks, flat beds, dry van trailers, etc., in Flat Rock, Indiana.

WE PROVIDE

a friendly working environment in a small but growing truck repair business. Our team works hard to pull together and get our customers back on the road, without all the corporate headaches found at big city dealerships. We can be flexible around your occasional family needs.

WE ALSO PROVIDE

a great place to advance your mechanic skills, because the owner is happy to share his vast amount of knowledge from decades of experience, and we always have a wide variety of vehicles to work on.

PAY:

$28-$46 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Additional ASE Testing and Certification.

YOU MUST

have your own tools, but we do also provide some specialized tools in our shop.

YOU MUST

be willing to work indoors or outdoors, depending on the conditions of multiples jobs in progress, parts availability, shop space, customers' needs, etc. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all phases and aspects of truck repair, to include: Diesel and combustion engines (various types), electrical, computer diagnostics, DPF systems, brakes, suspension, steering, air systems, hydraulics, drive train, welding and fabrication, HVAC, inspections, etc. M-F 8:00am-4:30pm or 5pm. Occasional overtime and weekend work possible but not required. Service trucks available 24 hours and can be discussed if interested.

REQUIRED

Clean driver's license. CDL license is NOT required, but is preferred for test-driving customers' vehicles.
