Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Truck Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of diesel engines and trucks, ensuring they are safe and operational for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills in diesel engine and truck repair and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions. Fabricate and weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity. Communicate effectively with the shop foreman regarding repairs and maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks. Assist in soldering electrical components when needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Experience Previous experience as a diesel engine and heavy truck repair or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair. Familiarity with welding techniques and fabrication processes is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions. A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining customer satisfaction.
