Bonny's Equipment Rentals is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic with strong experience in heavy equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of rental equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, excavators, loaders, generators, and other heavy machinery Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity

Equipment Inspection:

Inspect equipment before and after rentals Identify and document damage, wear, or malfunctions Complete necessary repairs before equipment is rented out again

Customer Support:

Assist customers with proper equipment usage and safety procedures when needed Address and resolve mechanical issues reported during rental periods

Inventory & Parts Management:

Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and supplies Order parts and materials as needed for repairs

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all safety regulations and company policies Keep the shop and work areas clean and organized Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Equipment uptime and availability Response time to repair requests Accuracy of documentation and inspections Customer satisfaction with equipment performance

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic (heavy equipment required) Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently Strong work ethic and reliability

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
