We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic to provide part-time maintenance and repair services for diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Compensation:

$35-$50 per hour, based on experience

Expected Hours:

10-50 hours per week, depending on workload Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive service Repair diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, suspensions, and related systems Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend repairs Maintain accurate service and repair records Communicate clearly about repair needs, timelines, and required parts Follow applicable safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications Previous professional experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently Reliable transportation and consistent availability Ability to safely lift and handle tools, parts, and equipment Valid driver's license Diesel technology training or relevant certifications are preferred If there is good performance, there will be opportunities down to line to be our full time fleet manager or to be a full time diesel mechanic. Schedule Hours are flexible and will vary according to maintenance and repair needs. The anticipated workload is between 10 and 50 hours per week.
