Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on trucks and heavy equipment Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify issues and recommend repairs Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot problems Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures Keep work area clean and organized General understanding of other heavy equipment Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment Ability to use diagnostic software and hand/power tools Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Preferred Qualifications Diesel mechanic certification (ASE or equivalent) Experience with fleet maintenance or heavy equipment Welding or fabrication experience
