Job Description

Job Summary Looking for more employees to join a new division of our business! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding a variety of large forklifts and Construction equipment. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will contribute to the growth of our business by getting equipment rent and retail ready to sell to our customers What you'll do Diagnose mechanical issues in large forklifts and other heavy equipment Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, etc. Undertake rebuilding projects including replacing engines, transmissions, hydraulics etc Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques for fabrication and assembly tasks. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues Maintain accurate records of all service work performed on equipment. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards. Operate heavy machinery as needed to assist in repairs or maintenance tasks. Basic qualifications Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on heavy equipment or automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of forklifts, excavators, cranes, farm machinery, and industrial equipment. Familiarity with OEM specifications and the ability to read schematics effectively. Preferred qualifications Previous dealership experience is a plus! Skills in fabrication, welding and tire service are advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various types of machinery safely.
