Monday-Friday, Evening Shift (5:00 PM - 2:00 AM) & Saturday Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, take pride in quality workmanship, and thrive in a fast-paced shop environment. Successful candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and reliability. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance, including vehicle inspections, oil changes, brake service, and tire maintenance. Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Interpret fault codes and implement effective repair solutions. Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation. Assist with emergency repairs and field service calls as needed. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with shop safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification in Diesel Mechanics preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with diesel-powered vehicles or heavy equipment. Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, repair tools, and maintenance procedures. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
