Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty trucks. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with equipment, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure our vehicles operate at peak performance. Duties Perform diagnostic assessments using automotive electrical systems, engine diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, shocks & struts, and air brake systems to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain and repair electrical systems, HVAC units, and other specialized equipment to keep all systems functioning optimally. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to prevent future problems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other mechanical repair tools efficiently for various repair tasks. Diagnose complex electrical issues including automotive electrical systems and electrical system diagnostics; repair or replace faulty wiring or components. Assist with vehicle assembly or reassembly after repairs or upgrades; perform heavy lifting safely when handling large parts or equipment. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with the work performed. Experience Proven background working on heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicles. Extensive hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical repair, diesel engine repair, and mechanical troubleshooting Knowledge of transmissions, air brake systems, suspension components, shocks & struts, and alignment procedures. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and basic vehicle troubleshooting methods. Experience working with HVAC units in commercial vehicles or similar environments is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to perform heavy lifting safely is essential. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Pay:
$32.78 - $39.47 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
