Competitive / Based on Experience Red Stag, LLC is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Portales, NM . We are a leader in the milk-hauling transportation industry and are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable mechanic to help keep our trucks and trailers safe, reliable, and on the road. If you have hands-on diesel experience, take pride in your work, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines, including DD15 and D13 engines Perform brake repairs and replacements Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Repair and replace differentials and other mechanical components Perform safety checks and DOT inspections Repair and maintain trailers Perform tire and fender repairs Identify mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Job Requirements:

At least 1 year of diesel engine/mechanical experience Valid Class C driver's license required Class A CDL is a plus ASE or other mechanic certifications preferred, but not required Must have your own basic hand tools; specialty tools are provided Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to safety
