Senior Diesel Diagnostic Tech / Field Service Lead We're looking for an experienced diesel technician who still enjoys solving problems, mentoring younger techs, and keeping work moving — without carrying the full physical workload alone every day. This is a hands-on leadership role built around diagnostic ability, judgment, and experience more than brute labor. We value somebody who can think through problems, make decisions in the field, and help develop younger technicians into capable mechanics. You'll work out of a service truck, handle advanced diagnostics and repairs, support junior techs, and help manage workflow between field jobs and the shop. An entry-level helper/apprentice will ride with you to assist with lifting, setup, parts handling, and support work. This role is designed to reduce physical strain where possible so you can focus on diagnostics, problem-solving, quality repairs, and helping the team improve. Some days you'll be in the field. Some days you'll help organize work in the shop, troubleshoot difficult problems, coordinate repairs remotely by phone or text, or help younger techs work through jobs correctly. Over time, this role can transition further toward supervisory and operational leadership as junior technicians continue developing and become more independent in the field. We're looking for somebody who knows trucks, stays calm under pressure, and doesn't need constant oversight to keep things moving.
