Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. This role requires proficiency in working with various automotive systems, including mechanical, electrical, and powertrain components. The Automotive Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and repairs. Duties Perform diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including Ford vehicles and diesel engines. Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs. Execute alignment services and powertrain repairs while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating for customer transparency. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repair processes. Perform welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs. Qualifications Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engine repair is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Proficient in using diagnostic equipment for vehicle analysis. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of alignment procedures and techniques is beneficial. Must possess a valid driver's license.
