Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented School Bus Mechanic to join our team. The will assist in the maintenance, repair, and inspection of school district buses. A strong willingness to learn and a passion for mechanics are essential for success in this role. Pay will be depending on experience and qualifications. Duties Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and vehicles. Help with the assembly and disassembly of mechanical parts. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with lead mechanic to learn best practices and techniques. Document repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical systems; prior experience is a plus but not required. Familiarity with using diagnostic tools is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques. Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
