About us Diesel Technician Job Description Position Overview TransFleet Services is seeking a skilled journeyman diesel technician with experience working on trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units (reefers). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance services and repairs on these vehicles. While prior experience with reefers and holding a CDL are advantageous, they are not required for the position. Key Qualifications  Ability to work as part of a team  Strong communication skills  Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with others  Ability to maintain a drama-free work environment Technical Requirements The qualified applicant will take over for our retiring senior technician and must possess expertise in using Cummins Insite, Paccar, and Detroit factory software. Proficiency with laptops and computers is essential. Responsibilities will also include assisting with parts management, ordering, and inventory control. Work Environment Our fleet is clean and recently updated, and we are committed to keeping it in top condition. The ideal technician will be well-organized, eager to work in a state-of-the-art facility, and take pride in both their work and workspace. The fleet serves a major player in the food service industry Compensation This position pays $28-$33/hour depending on experience.
