This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle upfits and modifications to meet client specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience working with various tools, and familiarity with electrical systems. Attention to detail and safety are paramount in ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. We are a verified dealer and installer for the following brands: Buyers Products Company (SnowDogg, SaltDogg) Hilltip Fisher TopGun Back Blades DECKED Drawer Systems Responsibilities Install upfit components such as snow plows, salt spreaders, lighting, electrical systems, and other vehicle modifications according to specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools, including Ohmmeters. Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and work orders accurately. Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and customer expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes. Experience Proven experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably in vehicle upfitting or custom modifications. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as Ohmmeters is highly desirable. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately. Prior experience working with various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment is preferred.
